Reporting to the Director, Global Learning & Performance R&D, the Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high quality training curricula and programs for the Global Medical Affairs staff (Regional Medical Liaisons, Global Medical Communications, Global Medical Writing, Medical Directors and additional medical staff) in partnership with other Oncology learning professionals.

The role will focus on training in the Oncology Therapeutic Area.


Liaising with the RML, Med Comm and Medical stakeholders globally to develop therapeutic learning and performance activities, learning materials, and conducting new hire training on select Oncology products and disease states.

Work closely with internal (e.g., GL&P R&D, Global Development, Global Medical Affairs) and external groups (e.g., suppliers, opinion leaders) to develop and execute these training programs.

Travel approximately 20%.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree


Master's degree and 2 years of training experience


Bachelor's degree and 4 years of training experience


Associate's degree and 10 years of training experience


High school diploma / GED and 12 years of training experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Pharm.D, PhD, or MD with 3+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical and or clinical experience.

Understanding of training methodology and design.

Excellent technical writing, oral, presentation, and project management skills and the ability to search, critically analyze, and summarize scientific literature.

Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the legal and regulatory guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products.

Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
