Amgen Senior Marketing Manager Oncology - IMLYGIC® Promotions in Thousand Oaks, California
The Marketing Senior Manager, IMLYGIC® Promotions, will have a unique opportunity to obtain oncology therapeutic experience in the innovative immunotherapy melanoma disease state. This person will be responsible for development, implementation, management, and analysis of promotional initiatives for IMLYGIC® to drive growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketer seeking to join a highly motivated team committed to advancing treatment in oncology.
This position will report to the Director of Marketing Promotions for the IMLYGIC® US Brand Team.
Developing innovative promotional initiatives in alignment with the overall brand goals and objectives that support IMLYGIC® positioning and enable stakeholders to clearly identify appropriate candidates
Generating new ideas and insights based on effective analysis of market / customer information through market research that help to guide strategic decisions, address customer needs, and enhance brand success within identified prescribing universe
Coordinating the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments to ensure flawless execution of campaigns and programs that support the brand identity and positioning
Partner with multi-channel marketing to coordinate personal and non-personal programs that maximize the effectiveness of HCP and patient campaigns
Engaging often with OL's, cross-functional marketing partners, the RMM team, pharmacy affairs, and RAV to ensure creation and flawless roll out of high impact, high value marketing tools
Collaborating with sales training to ensure effective, impactful, world class training on promotional tools and programs
Partnering with sales leadership to develop execution plans and strategies that ensure successful alignment between marketing and sales
Engage often with the field to ensure creation and flawless roll out of high impact, high value marketing tools that drive appropriate use of IMLYGIC®
Leading projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process
Managing program budgets and developing metrics to ensure success of the promotional programs
Domestic travel is 20%.
Doctorate degree & 2 years of marketing, sales, operations, project management and/or training experience
Master's degree & 4 years of marketing, sales, operations, project management and/or training experience
Bachelor's degree or & 6 years of marketing, sales, operations, project management and/or training experience
Associate's degree & 10 years of marketing, sales, operations, project management and/or training experience
High school diploma / GED & 12 years of marketing, sales, operations, project management and/or training experience
MBA in marketing, healthcare management, or related discipline
4+ years of experience in developing, executing, and measuring marketing initiatives for specialty products
Proven track record of critically evaluating, distilling and synthesizing data
