Amgen Research Network Liaison - Oncology in Thousand Oaks, California

The US Oncology Medical Affairs team at Amgen is looking for a research network liaison that will help coordinate and build a comprehensive oncology research network to accelerate development of marketed products and early pipeline assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and build a research platform composed of key oncology research networks

  • Develop and execute strategic partnership with each oncology research networks as aligned with Amgen oncology strategy

  • Liaise between oncology research networks and Amgen cross-functional teams (medical, development and clinical operations)

  • Orchestrate relationship management between Amgen Oncology and key decision makers within oncology research networks

  • Coordinate formation of scientific steering committees and annual network summit meetings


Basic Qualifications



Clinical Research Coordinator with at least 2 years of oncology research experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of industry or oncology research experience

  • Expertise in building and/or coordinating research networks

  • Ability to liaise with cross-functional team members and effectively communicate with internal and external business partners

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Discretion in dealing with proprietary information
