Amgen Marketing Senior Manager, Value and Access in Thousand Oaks, California
The Marketing Senior Manager, Reimbursement, Value and Access (RAV), supports development and execution of brand specific reimbursement, access and value strategy for Organized Customer Team (OCT) and Cardiovascular sales teams to ensure payer coverage and patient access to the Cardiovascular (CV) Portfolio.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Execution of RAV strategy (strategy developed with Director RAV and brand team) for the CV Portfolio (Repatha®, Corlanor®, pipeline)
For Corlanor, function as the Payer lead of the forecast, brand plan, budget and strategy and execution for the brand including oversight of payer contracting
Conducting periodic brand-specific RAV team meetings (usually monthly) to communicate strategy and to drive alignment and execution
Collaborate with Access Marketing, RAV lead and brand to maintain/develop patient support programs for in-line and launch brands
Collaborate with Access Marketing to develop brand-specific support program messages and tools for the BCBU sales teams
Lead brand specific direction and tools training to Organized Customer Team new hires
Collaborate with Value Marketing team to create brand specific value strategy, messaging, tools for Organized Customer Team (OCT) and data generation plan in alignment with brand strategy
Work with Organized Customer Team therapeutic area leadership in identifying and developing resources and trainings to support impactful execution of strategy.
Engage Organized Customer Team (OCT) Field Input team in collecting feedback on resources as well as creating platforms for sharing best practices.
Collaborates with Value Marketing and training to develop OCT semester plan of action, semester meeting content/training and reimbursement goals
Leads training and direction at semester meetings in collaboration with value marketing and training teams.
Track OCT coverage/POA goals and support dashboard activities
Assist with strategic planning and quarterly business reviews
For sales teams and OCT, triage RAV related questions and issues and ensures that items are addressed
Responsible for RAV budget management
Doctorate degree and (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience)
Master's degree and (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience)
Bachelor's degree and (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience)
Associate's degree and (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience)
High school diploma / GED and (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience)
MBA or other Master's degree
5+ years sales, marketing and/or commercial operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
Proven strategic thinking and ability to take projects from inception to execution
