Amgen Associate Quality Control - Environmental Monitoring in Thousand Oaks, California

Job Summary:

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00am - 2:00pm

Under general supervision, the Associate Quality Control will be responsible for Environmental Monitoring in support of the QC Microbiology Lab.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures and requirements to execute assigned tasks

  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices

  • Comply with gowning and hygiene requirements defined for specific job role

  • Participate in quality improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

OR

Associate's degree and 4 years of quality experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of quality experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional work experience in a GMP QC Microbiology Lab

  • Hands on experience with Environmental Monitoring, gowning and aseptic technique

  • Operation and maintenance experience with laboratory equipment

  • Proficiency with electronic systems (LIMS, LMES, Trackwise, etc.)

  • Exposure to Operational Excellence initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, project management and presentation skills, and proven ability to manage priorities effectively

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to support business needs
