Amgen Key Account Manager in Sofia, Bulgaria


Maximizes access of AMGEN products based on payer responsibility in targeted accounts by presenting the value for approved indications

Ensures net sales objectives in key accounts on regional and national level

Develops relationships with identified HCPs/ stakeholders on regional and national level

Drives introduction/ access & promotion based on added value topics & SmPC features

Ensures & on-time Report of all relevant information with Sales Reps, BUM and other stakeholders at Amgen



  • MAP decision processes and identify key decision makers-Implement and monitor an action plan for priority accounts in cooperation with BUM / Cluster AMGEN team

  • Develop accounts action plan aligned with AMGEN strategy & sales targets-Support pricing business cases preparation for relevant accounts

  • Organize regular interactions with sales reps and share objectives and information

  • Contribute to development of the marketing/commercial strategy


  • Build relationships with identified Stakeholders & Decision makers

  • Lead the execution part of Key Account Excellence process

  • Ensure access of new products & track of required documentation

  • Ensure a consistent value offer, account calculation and implementation follow-up

  • Execute the action plan aligned with Gen Med Team, based on Account mapping


  • Follow-up of access, sales, pricing, administration topics & advocacy relations

  • Contract fulfillment & all related documents requirements

  • Follow-up and update account mapping, stakeholder analysis by ensuring deep understanding of customer needs or local specifics

  • Follow-up on productivity and its impact


  • University Degree in a Life Sciences/Health discipline (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology)

  • Post-graduate degree or Courses on Negotiation Techniques, Communication Techniques, Written references by Leaders

  • Strong experience/seniority in the industry

  • Excellence in negotiation of prices and conditions

  • Proficient in doing scientific/promotional presentations


  • 5-8 years of experience as Sales Rep promoting Pharmaceutical products

  • Experience in promotion to Hospital Pharmacists

  • Demonstrated track record of introduction of new products in the market

  • Demonstrated track record of working with objectives and achieving goals within strict deadlines

  • Thorough knowledge of the majority of decision makers in his/her area

  • History of working in complex and cross-functional teams

  • History of working in innovative and/or multinational companies

  • Having experience in Wholesaler's collaboration, quotation & delivery


  • Experience as Key Account Manager or District Manager

  • Experience in managing people/ Value added projects

  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
