Amgen Job Description
The position will be with Supply Chain organization at Amgen's Singapore facility. Area of responsibilities include management of short-term and long-term production planning, material requirements planning, master data management, product inventory control, capacity management, scenario analysis, and strategic resource planning in support of all products manufactured at Amgen's Singapore Site.
Effectively utilize production planning tools, solutions and methodologies to ensure successful execution of the supply plan, management of inventory and scrap per corporate and site targets.
Effectively work with diverse teams and all levels of management to deliver standardized processes related to production planning.
Serve as one of the primary interfaces with Corporate and Regional Planning on one or more drug substance/product planning networks.
Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate implications of changes to the production plan.
Able to thoroughly understand the various manufacturing process requirements to translate the production plan into an actionable supply plan within SAP or other ERP systems for ASM operations.
Reviews and rationalizes BOM requirements for new and existing products
Maintain current process orders and master data in the SAP using current production information. Support Finance with closure of process orders which are still captured in Finance WIP.
Partner to resolve planning conflicts impacting ASM operations on a day-to-day basis.
Interface with planner/buyers, site manufacturing, quality, business unit leaders, and finance to ensure functional alignment of plans and expected outcomes.
Timely update relevant trackers (e.g. material, lot yield, lot disposition, shipment, etc.)
Support data gathering for planning metric, annual costing, etc.
Generate, review and update existing procedures (SOPs/policies), own Trackwise records (Change Control, NC, CAPA) as applicable.
Liaise with counterparts for shipment of product.
Support continuous improvement projects in the Supply Chain.
Assume additional responsibilities per business need.
- Master's degree and 2 years of experience directly related to the job
OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience directly related to the job
OR Diploma and 8 years of experience directly related to the job

Effective written and verbal communication skills
