Project Manager, Digital Health R&D

Singapore

6-month contract (potential for renewal)

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with a dedicated Project Lead, assume responsibility to coordinate key work-stream activities for digital health projects.

Co-ordinate the activities across the project team, own the project plan, identify the critical path, highlight risks and work with the team to identify options to mitigate.

Manage a cross-functional team to deliver specified projects, ensuring all actions are identified and delivered to enable execution of pilots on time.

Monitor budget, resources and progress against key milestones and work closely with Project Lead, hospital administration, and internal legal, compliance, regulatory, safety, privacy.

Manage key interfaces with third-party suppliers to enable rapid implementation of pilots.

Co-ordinate creation of internal and technical documentation with the Project Lead and internal enabling functions.

Provide a week by week status update for every project in development, identifying any risk which could slow the project down against timeline.

Requirements:

5+ years experience with digital products development in the context of healthcare or other heavily regulated industry

PMP Certification will be a huge plus

Prior expertise in a technical role encompassing recent experience in project management

Track record of excellent project management and completion of projects on time and budget

Ability to lead/collaborate activities in a cross-functional matrixed team to the successful outcome

Experience in medical device development

Understanding the regulatory (approval and compliance) needs relating to medical devices

Demonstrable experience in the planning and delivery of a complex new product

Ensure compliance with all HSE and quality policies

Overall:

The Project Manager should have a track record of managing complex projects in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, energy, etc.). There are PMO certifications and I think we shouldn't over look that as a requirement.

The person should have good communication skills (especially email), composure in stressful times, flexibility with work hours (OK with early morning calls to USA), and is proactive at finding the appropriate pathways to make sure processes are compliant and follow Amgen SOPs.
