Amgen Product Manager in Singapore, Singapore


  • Report to local commercial lead of general medicine franchise

  • Work cross functionally to ensure the benefits to patients offered by Amgen's products can be optimized

  • Devise & implement plans in line with global/regional guidance to build the brands & grow the business of the franchise

  • Ensure all plans & initiatives are adhered to highest level of integrity and Amgen Values


Insight Generation

  • Analyses market research and develops insights

  • Build network with key external stakeholders to gain insight about the unmet medical needs

  • Identifies new business opportunities, develops business cases & plans for securing resources to realize the potential of the opportunities

Planning, Execution & Cross-Function Collaboration

  • Develops LRP, annual budget & quarter latest estimates with finance co-workers

  • Develops and implements annual Country Brand Plan/Local Product Strategy (LPS) in full congruence with regional guidance

  • Proposes national budget, sales target and achieves agreement with Country Lead and Sales Leaders

  • Update demand forecast monthly and work with supply chain to ensure stable supply of responsible products

  • Designs and executes promotional activities (detail aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, etc.) in line with regional guidance and the approved local plan

  • Plans and executes hospital formulary listing activities, design and executes relevant patient programs

  • Engage and enable (provide training, appropriate materials, etc.) sales force to achieve brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings)

  • Partners with the local medical counterparts to optimize the brand performance (goals of clinical trials, KOL development, etc.)

  • Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans

  • Manage A&P budget to ensure management result can be achieved

  • Recruits and manages external vendors

  • Track and report the brand performance regularly based upon the agreed KPIs included in LPS or other commercial plans


  • Ensure all activities, campaigns and materials are reviewed & approved according to the corresponding SOPs and comply with internal policies and local code of practices


  • Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry

  • 1 to 3 years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing function

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications

  • Financial and budgeting skills and experience

  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)

  • Documented success in gaining or maintaining market leadership position
