Serves as the trusted advisor and coach to the VP and site leadership team in areas of strategy, leadership, organizational design, talent management, rewards, and change managementPartners with the business on people and organizational needs; providing ongoing coaching to people managersAttracts, retains and integrates a high quality, motivated and engaged workforce *Oversees execution of annual HR processes for the site (performance management, compensation planning, career development, talent management)Administers local rewards and benefits programs based on corporate compensation philosophy, business objectives, and global programsSupports managers on recruiting new talent (including CV screening, candidate interviewing, offer proposal negotiation and onboarding)Leads learning and development programs to develop staff membersManages other key HR operational processes including (exit processes, internal & external audit preparation, HR chop management, employee relations) *Acts as the interface with corporate HR, linking closely with the China HR and global R&D HR teams to facilitate two-way communication and collaborationEnsures a clear, shared understanding of HR procedures-policies, and monitors compliance with local regulationsPartners with HR Centers of Expertise to develop and implement changes, working to anticipate, coordinate, and plan HR programs at the site, ensuring HR initiatives add value to Amgen's business goalsRepresents Amgen at key local external activities including across industry and academic affiliations, focusing on attracting top talent to the site and enhancing our reputation in the local market
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge or the equivalent.
University Degree in Psychology, Sociology, HR, Business Administration, or similar degree;5 or more years of experience covering a variety of HR functions such as rewards, staffing, training, employee relations;*Fluent in both local language and in English (both oral and written)
Pharmaceutical experience *Multinational company experience in a matrix environment;Strategic HR business partner experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)Knowledge of PRC labor laws, policies and practices
