Regional Medical Liaison - RML

The Regional Medical Liaison (RML) will interact with OLs, health professionals and stakeholders; set examples for others to follow; consistent demonstration of Amgen Values by displaying tact and organizational savviness when communicating and interacting with others; model openness and innovation through words, actions and decisions; share learnings with others including innovation ideas; and hold self-accountable for performance and encourages others to do the same and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen's corporate goals and objectives regarding to Hematology healthcare.


  • Developing process and relationship with OLs, health professionals and stakeholders.

  • Liaise with OLs, hematologists, investigators and potential investigators on a two-way scientific communication about current clinical practice and treatment pathways.

  • Implement communication and educational programs for health care professionals in high quality scientific and clinical exchange on oncology/hematology drugs.

  • Communicate complex cutting edge scientific information and research concepts to health care professionals including but not limited to those at Academic Medical Centers and Reference Treatment Centers

  • Scientific relationships in a set territory

  • RML plans and reports

  • Maintain dialogue with local sales team and marketing brand team to ensure customer needs.

  • Share educational highlights and insight gathered while at scientific congress with colleagues

  • Territory input for feasibility and site selection fo clinical trials

  • Facilitate submission of investigator sponsored research proposals- Support Amgen sponsored research

  • Identify members of Amgen's speaker's bureau and ensure they are updated on new data

  • Lead and or participate on committees or project teams that support RML strategies and tactics as delegated by RML leadership

  • Seek out opportunities to support the RML value proposition and achieve results and set an example for others to follow by consistently demonstrating Amgen Values and Leadership Attributes

  • Demonstrate tact and organizational savvy when communicating and interacting with others.


  • Bachelor's degree (Health Areas)

  • Fluent English

  • Available for travel (80% of the time)

  • It will be necessary to provide previous experience as Regional Medical Liaison in Hematology / Oncology/ Immunology.

  • Clinical practice experience or lab experience.

  • Research experience
