Amgen Project Manager HEOR (Health Economics & Observational Research) in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The Project Manager for HEOR (Health Economics / Observational Research) is a role split between Health Economics & Medical Affairs.

This role will be based in Amgen's Regional Asia headquarters in Hong Kong and the key responsibilities fall within the following areas:

  • Providing overall project management and operations support to regional & local Health Economics (HE) & Observational Research (OR) projects

  • Developing detailed project plans, driving planning/reporting tasks, facilitating team meetings, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring adherence to workflow processes and timelines

  • Supporting for contracting, PO#, and invoices, onboarding of new vendors

  • Tracking project progress, including milestones, action items and escalation and resolution of issues.

  • Improving study execution process by detailing project work break down, capturing lessons-learned and enhancing efficiencies for immediate/future projects

  • Designing and communicating project communication tools including dashboards, change control, training plans, quality monitoring programs and metrics

  • Designing and implementing project templates for project plan tracking and reporting

  • Follow-up on project issues to assist in the development of solutions

  • Facilitation of project meetings including planning and issuing of minutes and actions

  • Point of contact for assigned planning and operational tasks

  • Providing timeline updates to KEG for Financial Forecasts

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree & 2 years of directly related experience


Bachelor's degree or & 4 years of directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree with

2 years experience in leading and managing projects, and with project management tools and processes (e.g., MS Project)

2 years experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environments

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment

Experience working with other functions within Health Economics, Observational Research, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Legal and Regulatory
