Amgen Process Development Senior Associate in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Job Summary

A Process Development Senior Associate position is open within the Amgen Biological Relevance and Characterization group in Process Development, Cambridge, MA. We are seeking an individual to perform analytical testing in support of advancing novel large molecule products in Amgen's pipeline. This individual will develop, qualify and perform immunoassays and other analytical tests to measure process-related impurities in samples undergoing purification process development and communicate results to internal clients. Job responsibilities include sample testing, method execution, operation of TECAN, troubleshooting, data analysis, documentation of results, and report writing.

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry

2+ years' experience in an industry setting

Hands on experience in ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay)

Familiarity with method development, method qualification, TECAN, electronic notebook, and cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements

Prior experience with Quantitative PCR (qPCR)

Candidate should be highly organized and motivated, have strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task, and collaborate and work in teams
