The successful co-op will be working as a member of the FACS team and will be responsible for using FACSAria stream-in-air cell sorter to isolate hybridomas of interest and generate panels of monoclonal antibodies for downstream characterization. The hybridoma panels are generated through the immunization of Xenomouse™, which is a proprietary transgenic mouse capable of producing fully human antibodies. The candidate will be responsible for reagent preparation and quality control, flow cytometry assay development, maintenance of various flow cytometers (FACSAria, FACSCanto and Accuri systems), cell sorting, cell culturing, antibody expression and data analysis. The candidate will also have the opportunity to work alongside our Hybridoma Group to aid in hybridoma generation, B-cell fusions, and high throughput tissue culture.
