Currently we are looking for a Senior Manager Supply Chain

As a Senior Manager Supply Chain you are part of the Supply Chain Leadership team. You are responsible for managing the planning processes that cover different horizons (long-, mid- & short-term planning) impacting ABR. With your team you ensure adequate use of capacity and appropriate inventory levels to serve 'every patient every time'. You manage, lead and motivate the Site Supply Chain Planning department to enhance performance so business goals, agreed metrics and budget requirements can be achieved in a spirit of continuous improvement.

You lead a multidisciplinary team of 12 people and oversee all activities related to end-to-end Supply Chain planning. The team comprises the following disciplines:

  • Drug Product Planning / Master Production Scheduling (4 - 24 month horizon)

  • Detailed Scheduling (0 - 12 week horizon)

  • Sourcing of printed and packaging components and raw materials

  • Master Data ManagementAt Amgen we work in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You play a key role in the Breda site ensuring supply reliability, efficiency, agility and differentiation in service offerings for the different markets we serve. You interact on a frequent basis with the Manufacturing, Regional Supply Chain, Global Planning, Site Commercialization and Process Development teams. Your input is fundamental in reaching the site goals and the strategic positioning of ABR via scenario analysis.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • You are a strong operational people manager with the ability to build effective teams and communicate effectively with multiple cross-functional teams and Sr. Management level.

  • You have a strong drive for results and are capable to both think and act strategically as well as understand and use details to obtain results. You are able to translate your strategic views into practical solutions and actions in a structured way with execution discipline.

  • You hold a Master's degree or equivalent, have strong problem solving skills and are fluent in English, in both oral and written communication.

  • You have 5+ years of related industry experience and 5+ years of supervisory experience

Experience in working in an international environment.
